Lili picked out her own backpack for preschool. She is so excited. She wanted one with wheels and got it! She had her haircut here. She can't wait to "go to school"!

Our Swimmer

We went to Florida a few weeks ago with Ma and Papa Bruce. Lili fell in love with swimming!

By day two, she was swimming on her own with her floaties, not letting us go near her to help her! Can't imagine where she gets her love of the pool from (and her independence!).

So it might not be that exciting, but he is laughing, gurgling and making some really great noises! He is just too cute! Lili loves him so!

A few pics from the most recent doctor's visit. (Notice the booties Aunt Shelly and Uncle Georges?!). Nolan is almost up to his birth weight. He is a joy each day! :)

Nolan!

After 9 + months, Nolan Michael Russell arrived on time on Dec. 29th, 2009 at 10:28 am. He weighed in a 9 lbs, 1 oz. We were very blessed to have lots of family around us for the first few days and all is well.

Christmas Pics Preview

Lili got her pictures taken last week for Christmas. She was not really into it at first, stating "no pictures, no pictures" about 50 times. Then, Daddy brought out a teddy bear and some fake presents under the tree they had for decorations. Suddenly, it all changed. Our little angel really got into it. Even put moved over one of the stools to put her feet up as she was photographed. She was too cute! Here is a preview of the shoot!
